65091340055979Nullagvik.jpgOwned by NANA, Nullaġvik is Iñupiaq for, “a place to sleep.” Financed, designed and built by NANA companies, the modern hotel offers 71 guest rooms and seven suites. More than a place to sleep, the hotel features a high-tech meeting room that can accommodate up to 100 people, a comfortable observation lounge with views of the Kotzebue Sound, a well-equipped fitness center, and a full-service restaurant.

WHPacific provided the architectural and interior design, as well as the structural and electrical engineering design. NANA WorleyParsons assisted with the mechanical design. DOWL HKM was responsible for civil engineering, and NANA Construction oversaw the hotel construction and managed the general contractor—SKW Eskimos, a subsidiary of Arctic Slope Regional Corporation. Upon the hotel’s completion in 2011, NMS assumed the daily operation of the new property—managing both the hotel and restaurant.
