Raytheon hired NANA Services, LLC partner as a logistics contractor for the National Science Foundation McMurdo stations. NANA Services, LLC, oversees food services, retail operations, three store and bar lounges, housing/billeting, janitorial operations, and recreational activities. Each of these operations requires a commitment by NANA Services staff to enhance the quality of life for those working in the remote, isolated environment of Antarctica. NANA Services, LLC, has mobilized a workforce to accommodate the seasonal growth at the McMurdo Station and the South Pole Station, from approximately 200 to 1200 personnel and 50 to 200 personnel, respectively. Managed from the NANA Services offices in Denver, Colorado, they have continued to successfully meet or exceed the contractual obligations of the project.
