WHPacific’s Landscape Architecture Studio Welcomes Spencer Nickel and Expands Services

WHPacific is pleased to announce that Spencer “Spence” Nickel, RLA, ASLA has joined the firm’s Landscape Architecture (LA) Studio. Based in the firm’s Denver, Colorado office, Spencer leads the expansion of the LA Studio’s services to Colorado with a focus on campus master planning and the design of outdoor environments. WHPacific’s LA Studio has built a strong reputation in the Northwest creating places that function to the clients' desired vision and is now eager to work with customers in Colorado to meet their vision and needs.
Spencer is a licensed landscape architect in the state of Colorado. With more than 27 years of professional practice, Spencer has focused on significant outdoor campus and higher education environments for University of Colorado, University of Denver, AIMS Community college, and others. Spencer’s expertise has been featured in the recent book, Built for Learning: A Unified Architectural Vision for the University of Denver, documenting the past decade of landscape and architectural development at the university. Spencer’s work has been recognized by the American Society of Landscape Architects, Colorado Chapter, as well as the Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles.
