Sean Fitzpatrick joins WHPacific as Director of Surveying/Mapping

93011398119911SeanFitzpatrick.jpgWHPacific, Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of Sean Fitzpatrick, PLS as director of surveying to the company’s El Segundo office. Fitzpatrick is a Professional Land Surveyor and has more than 22 years’ experience in survey.  He graduated from the University of Southern California with a bachelor of science degree in public administration.

“Sean is an outstanding project manager and a recognized leader in the surveying industry. Sean will provide solid leadership for our surveying operations in the Los Angeles Metro area,” said Vice President, Surveying and Mapping, Jason Kack, PLS.

Previous to WHPacific, Fitzpatrick worked as a project manager at Towill, Inc., a project surveyor for Kiewit Underground District, and a survey department manager at Manitou Engineering Company. His surveying experience includes residential and commercial development, public infrastructure improvements, utility, GIS, and aerial mapping. Some of his major project accomplishments include boundary determination for the north boundary of Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton; design, installation, and operation of an automated monitoring system for Kiewit Infrastructure West on the All-American Canal and Diemer Water Treatment Plant; geodetic control for Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow; and tunnel surveying for Devil’s Slide tunnels.  He is a member of the California Land Surveyors Association and has presented at various Trimble Dimensions Conferences on topics that include geodetic control, tunnel surveying and deformation monitoring. As director of surveying, Fitzpatrick will be focused on the utility, transportation, and federal markets for Los Angeles and Orange Counties.
