NMS sales manager appointed to board of pharmacy

Gov. Sean Parnell appointed Ted Mala Jr., NANA Management Services Sales Manager, to the Alaska Board of Pharmacy.
The Board of Pharmacy implements regulations to carry out laws governing pharmacy practices in Alaska, makes final licensing decisions and takes disciplinary actions against licensing laws violators. The board consists of five pharmacists and two public members. The seat to be held by Mala is one reserved for public members.
Mala is Sales Manager of NMS and previously worked as a project coordinator for the Southcentral Foundation. He has also worked as a senior media consultant with several news media organizations and in real estate.
