NANA Shareholder Development hosts Career Fairs in Anchorage and Kotzebue

Job training, apprenticeships and educational opportunities open for exploration

Improving the lives of our shareholders is central to NANA’s purpose. Our Shareholder Development Department is dedicated to helping NANA’s shareholders succeed in their educational, training and career goals. We are hosting two Career Fairs this week.  One on Wednesday March 3rd at Anchorage’s NANA Development Corporation office on Benson Blvd. and another at Kotzebue High School on March 5th.

NANA Shareholder Development is organizing the events. Shareholder Development Manager Kristina Patrick says. “Everything we do is about growing our people. It is a truly inspirational and motivational experience to witness our shareholders reaching their dreams. For many, these Career Fairs are where those dreams begin. This is part of the purpose to our profit and what sets our company apart. This is what makes NANA a different kind of company”

Shareholder Development works directly with NANA companies to help create career development opportunities for shareholders and facilitate internships.

At the Anchorage Career Fair for shareholders NANA companies will be on hand to look for prospective employees, interns and trainees.  Two days later in Kotzebue students from all over the NANA region will participate in the Career Fair, timed to coincide with a region-wide basketball tournament. Many NANA companies, local organizations, and post-secondary representatives will be on hand.
