The Board of Directors of NANA Australia Pty Ltd is pleased to announce the appointment of Rod Gonzales as Chief Executive Officer of the company. Gonzales was also Director of Oil Sands Business Strategy and Development for Petro Canada.
Gonzales holds a BSc in Chemical Engineering and an MSc in Genetics from the University of Alberta, and has received a number of industry and academic awards. He was named to the “Top 40 Under 40” list for Calgary in 2008.
“The Board of Directors unanimously agreed that Rod’s strong relationships with resource industry and aboriginal leaders, and significant business experience, make him the right leader for NANA Australia at this time of enormous opportunity,” said board member Neil Wilmett.
